Team Andrei took the campaign on the road to Mohave, La Paz and Yuma counties this week. Whether we were having coffee at Crossroads Café in Parker or holding a Town Hall in Kingman, we had a great time bringing our message to turn Arizona’s economy around to voters across Arizona.
We started our trip in Kingman where we met Earl Hamlyn, a local television personality who had invited us to be on his show, “Getting to Know Kingman”. After the taping, we headed off to Bullhead City where Andrei had a meeting to talk about economic conditions in the city. Later that day, the local Democraticic party in Kingman hosted a town hall forum in featuring Andrei. Even though the temperature reached almost 120 degrees, locals from across the county made the trek to voice their opinions and concerns about how to revive rural Arizona.
La Paz County was our next stop where we met local elected officials and community leaders in Parker the next morning. Whether they were Democrats, Republicans, or Independents s, they all agreed that their county, and our state needs new jobs and new industries.
Our last stop was in Yuma where Andrei listened to more concerns at a town hall and was interviewed by the local TV station about his plans to turn Arizona’s economy around.
We learned and listened a lot on our trip and are looking forward to hearing more from Arizona’s citizens in the months to come.
